Florida Education Commissioner Resigns Due To Scandal (Video)

So from time to time we here at The Liberal Agenda miss things in the news…OK, sometimes we miss a lot of things but with all the uproar over the closing U.S. embassies, Anthony Weiner’s naughty bits etc. I missed out on Florida Governor Rick Scott’s Education Commissioner resigning amid a figurative mountain of scandal. Tony Bennett resigned previously from his job in Indiana after trying to rig the school grading system in favor of Charter schools. Why, you might ask? Because there’s money to be made in Charter schools and those who have money often give it to certain campaigns. This isn’t a problem that’s exclusive to Florida either. Take a look around your state and your Republican Sen, Rep or Governor’s ties to those heavily invested in online or charter education. This problem is bigger than one state by far.
