Sarah Palin is back on the scene and she hasn’t lost her touch. This time she’s taking on Barack Obama(as always) and ’08 GOP campaign strategists. Nobody can dothis quite like her. I mean, only Sarah Palin can, with such style and such charisma, lose an argument without her opponent ever speaking.
Last week, seemingly still bitter over the 08 election, she attacked GOP strategists for “banning” her from bringing up Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. According to Palin, that was the real reason they couldn’t win the election(nevermind the landslide loss), and that’s the reason we have scandals. In honor of Karl Rove, she has it all listed on her “redneck whiteboard”, which is merely her writing on the back of a large mailing envelope.
Hey, at least she didn’t write it on her hand this time.
Yeah! Stupid GOP strategists! It’s because of you she never got a chance to say this in her ’08 campaign.
It could have changed the entire election if she could have just brought up Obama “pal-ing around” with that terrorist once, or twice or a bunch of times! C’mon!
Oh wait, she did. Repeatedly.
I wonder how an ad would look like mentioning that.
Huh? McCain too?
Looks like that earned Palin another set of roasted trousers from politifact.
Well sheesh, at least she kept quiet about Jeremiah Wright, because she didn’t want to step on Senator McCain’s toes. All she told William Kristol of the New York Times(who has millions of readers) a month before the election was….
“To tell you the truth, Bill, I don’t know why that association isn’t discussed more, because those were appalling things that that pastor had said about our great country, and to have sat in the pews for 20 years and listened to that — with, I don’t know, a sense of condoning it, I guess, because he didn’t get up and leave — to me, that does say something about character. But, you know, I guess that would be a John McCain call on whether he wants to bring that up.”
As you can see, this time McCain DID tell her not to, but she snuck it in anyways and it was covered everywhere.
Turns out she tried all of it and lost anyway.
Sorry Palin, but America’s just not into you.
Besides, you would have wanted to quit by now, so it worked out for all of us.
