Before, during and after the government shutdown, we’ve seen a growing divide among members of the Republican Party.
We saw the entire party fall the hardest in the polls, and after the shutdown, we saw it end with each faction in the party blaming the other for the outcome of the budget deal.
Basically, they didn’t get much. Moderate Republicans said it wasn’t wise to risk a shutdown to go after ObamaCare when Democrats control the Senate and the White House. Tea Party Republicans feels that if the entire party was united, the results would’ve been different.
With all the Republican in-fighting going on, FOX News’ Gretchen Carlson and Rich Lowry decided to offer some advice on how the party can get their ‘mojo’ back. They even admit they had no chance to defund Obamacare.
